Agent solution already tried

Thanks Jocken Sack. Yes. Actually I had already created a solution of this manner where an agent cross checks all the documents and sends an email to the relevant person with a list of the documents that have a duplicate and are both parents. It tested successfully ... BUT .... will not run on the Live server due to timing out and the Notes server Administrator says they have done all they can to make it run. Hence I am trying something else.
